I doubt that an ATV would have that much power but you never know! check your manual for your ATV and see what it’s towing capacity is. Dont go over it though, or you can do anything from the atv slipping into the water to blowing your engine to god knows what.

You can pull a 3000 lb boat up a ramp with a 500lb atv> Going down the ramp it would just keep going>

Should be OK. We use a Polaris 4wd at the marina for up to 20′ I/Os, never had a problem.

I doubt it would have enough traction to pull 3000lb up the ramp.

Depends on the boat ramp. I doubt you’d have success at a steep ramp, but on a more shallow angled ramp it might do the job.
