Someone wrote there that it's around 65 pounds... But in any case...I think your son would go nuts on this and have a blast... I have a 6 year old nephew that has a jeep and LOVES it still and rides around with his sister... I think he'll be able to enjoy it plenty....in fact....you may have a hard time keeping the "big boy" off the thing...lol.
