well I would guess they would act like any other vehicle who gets a flat tire. The outcome would depend on what speed, terrain and if its the front(Harder to steer) or back tire.

Well, if your writing with Hollywood in mind they would explode in a huge fire ball. For that matter if you dropped a blueberry bran muffin on a Hollywood sidewalk I’m sure it too would erupt into a huge mushroom cloud of fire a debris. But if this tyre were to be shot out in, oh say, Minnesota I think it would just simply go limp with the rider saying something expletive like, oh darn.
